Terms and Conditions

These terms of service constitute a legally binding agreement (the “Agreement”) between you (“you,” or “your”) and Connect Auto Glass, LLC, Inc. (“CAG,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a Utah corporation, governing your use of the Connect Auto Glass application, website, and technology platform (collectively, the “CAG Platform”).

CAG is an independand provider of retail auto glass and related services. Any person who accesses the CAG Platform is considered a “User”. For purposes of this Agreement, the automobile glass repair and replacement service(s) provided by CAG to Users that are matched through the Platform shall be referred to collectively as the “Services”.

Text Messaging and E-Mails

By creating an appointment using the CAG Platform, you agree that CAG may send you informational text (SMS) messages and e-mails as part of the normal business operation of your use of the Services. You acknowledge that messaging data rates may apply.  

Credit/Debit Card Payments & Refunds

Any credit or debit card authorization, payment capture, or charge, or similar (Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, etc.) provided by User for as payment for Services hereby referred to as “Charges”.  Charges do not include insurance payments.  Please see “Insurance” for more information in insurance billing policies.  

Facilitation of Payments

All Charges are facilitated through a third-party payment processing service (e.g., Stripe, Inc., or Braintree, a division of PayPal, Inc.). CAG may replace its third-party payment processing services without notice to you. Charges shall only be made through the CAG Platform. Cash payments are strictly prohibited.

Credit Card Hold and Payment

Upon scheduling of appointment for Services, you agree to grant CAG permission to place an Authorization Hold on your credit or debit card for up to 14 business days.  If you elect not to use Services before work has been performed the hold will be removed and any captured payment refunded.  Once CAG has performed Services as indicated by the assigned technician(s), the credit or debit card provided will be charged the quoted amount.   Otherwise, cancellation terms of this agreement, and all other terms and conditions provided by CAG shall still apply.

Pricing and Quoting

All charges will be communicated via e-mail, SMS, facsimile, or telephone prior to the User providing payment information.  This offered pricing constitutes a “Quote” from CAG.  Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise noted.  If additional services, parts, moldings, or labor are required at the time of Services are rendered these additional charges will be presented to User before any additional Charges are performed. 

Insurance

Users of CAG Services who opt to pay using insurance must authorize receipt of goods and services requested.  You must confirm that all services already performed by CAG were performed in a professional manner to their complete satisfaction. If you agree to utilize your insurance policy for coverage of CAG services, you authorize your insurance, fleet, or leasing company to pay CAG directly for any claim on your behalf for Services. You understand you are personally responsible for payment of all or any portion of any invoice for Services not covered by your insurance, fleet or leasing company.

Should you elect to pay using Insurance the total charges will be estimated based on information you provide about type of coverage.  Based on this estimate it may be necessary for you to pay a deductible.  If your insurance company elects to not cover some or all of the charges you will be responsible for all unpaid charges.

Financed Payment Option

Connect Auto Glass provides a lease purchase finance option for its customers through Snap! Finance, a third party lender. If you decide to use this finance option, you agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement you make with Snap! Finance, and any other terms and conditions expressed or implied by Snap! Finance, facilitated all or in part by CAG. If you choose to utilize this finance payment option, CAG shall authorize a refundable document fee charge of $19 using the credit or debit account you provide, provided you have only applied once per service instance. In the event your application is approved, your $19 document fee shall be refundable, provided your request is made during the then current CAG hours of operation, and at least 24 hours prior to the confirmed and/or requested service date and time. Your document fee may also be non-refundable in the event you do not complete the application within 48 hours of when your document fee is authorized or captured, not including any day CAG is closed for business operations. Any subsequent application related to the same service instance shall be non-refundable. Otherwise, all other terms and conditions provided by CAG shall also apply.

Unconditional Breakage Guarantee

CAG provides an Unconditional Breakage Guarantee on auto glass replacement services, where the Finance Payment Option is used as your payment method. All work under this guarantee must also be performed at a location specified by CAG.This Unconditional Breakage Guarantee will remain in effect and enforceable while you have an outstanding balance with Snap! Finance. You must also be in good standing with Snap! Finance in order to utilize this Unconditional Breakage Guarantee. Once your agreement is completed with Snap! Finance, this Unconditional Breakage Guarantee will expire. Otherwise, all other terms and conditions provided by CAG shall still apply.

Cancellations

Once your appointment date and time has been confirmed, CAG commits many resources to ensure your service(s) will be performed as promised. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed service date and time. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed service date and time, the credit or debit card you provided for payment will be charged a no-show fee of $75, a part(s) restocking fee of $19, and any applicable shipping charges.

Refunds

Refunds shall be granted upon customer request before any repair/replacement services have been performed, provided your request is made during the then current CAG hours of operation, and at least 24 hours prior to the confirmed service date and time.  In the event you cancel your service appointment less than 24 hours prior to your confirmed service date and time, CAG will retain all or a portion of the confirmed job estimate, including but not limited to any restocking, shipping, document, or application fees. Limited Lifetime Warranty

CAG warrants installation of new automotive glass to be free from defects in material and workmanship upon delivery, subject to this Limited Warranty. Any problems caused by installation error, such as wind and water, leaks, loose moldings and some types of stress cracks, will, at the option of CAG, be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. This Limited Warranty is lifetime, and transferable. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty you must present your original invoice as proof of repair or replacement to CAG. All work under this warranty must also be performed at a location specified by CAG. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER leakage or stress cracks caused by preexisting rust, structural damage, or other damage caused by vandalism or impact with foreign objects. If with such repair, CAG has made chip repairs to your automobile glass and you are not satisfied with such repair, CAG will credit cost of the chip repair toward replacement of the glass by CAG. In the event you request a repair of a rock chip or other damage caused by impact with foreign objects or vandalism, you agree that CAG shall not be responsible for breakage that occurs in attempting such repairs.

 

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF YOUR WINDSHIELD AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. This exclusive remedy will not be deemed to have failed of its essential purpose so long as CAG is willing and able to repair or replace the automotive glass installed. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE. CAG makes no other warranties of any kind and any repair to attempt to the automotive glass installed by anyone other CAG automatically voids this Limited Warranty. Any oral or written statement concerning the automotive glass installed inconsistent with this Limited Warranty shall be of no force or effect.
